Celebrating their Love Story

When Sloan approached me about doing an engagement session for them, I was over the moon. While I adore my capturing families and motherhood, it is just a different vibe to spend time documenting a couple's love. She and Tristan ended up getting married before we had our engagement session, so our engagement shoot turned into wedding photos!

Sloan wanted a timeless, romantic feel for wedding portraits, so we rented the Glass House Community near Holland for the first portion of our session. The roses were blooming all over the glass house, making it the perfect backdrop for these intimate photos celebrating the newly-weds.

Afterwards, we drove to a beach in Holland and did two outfit changes from my client closet for Sloan. Sloan gave me creative freedom to edit these, so I enjoyed adding grain to some of them. The wildfires in Canada created a hazy sky at sunset. The couple lit off sparklers to end the evening.

Sloan and Tristan, wishing you a lifetime of happiness and love on your adventure!
